Jason Feger scores podium finish in Summer Nationals visit to FALS
Jason Feger joined a field of 28 Late Models at Peoria Speedway (Peoria, Ill.) on Wednesday night to kick off the 2024 DIRTcar Summer Nationals aboard his Titan Industries No. 25 Late Model.
After topping his time trial group and his heat race, Feger rolled to a fourth-place finish in the 30-lap opener.
Following Thursday’s rain out at Kankakee County Speedway (Kankakee, Ill.), Jason raced to the hard chargers honors in Friday’s Hell Tour stop at Tri-City Speedway (Granite City, Ill.). Taking the green in 18th, Feger advanced forward 10 spots to finish eighth.
For another $10,000-to-win Summer Nationals event on Saturday at Fairbury Speedway (Fairbury, Ill.), Feger backed up a third-to-first heat showing with a third-place finish in the 50-lap feature. He joined Tyler Erb and Shannon Babb on the podium.
Sunday’s scheduled stop at Sycamore Speedway (Maple Park, Ill.) fell to wet weather.
Jason finished third in the Week 1 Hell Tour standings.
