Jason Feger storms to 14th win of 2023 at Fairbury

Back in action on Tuesday, Jason Feger unloaded his Digital Copy Systems No. 25 Late Model at Fairbury Speedway (Fairbury, Ill.) for the annual One for the Road.

Drawing a stout field of 31 Castrol FloRacing Night in America miniseries entries, Jason’s sixth-place finish in his heat race pinned him on the ninth row for the $23,023-to-win A-Main. Moving forward two spots in a talent-laden field, Feger recorded a 15th-place outing.

For the MARS Championship Series-sanctioned Brownstown 100 on Friday evening at Brownstown Speedway (Brownstown, Ill.), Feger topped the 35-car field in time trials before placing second in his heat. Chasing a $10,000 payday in the feature, Jason jumped up three positions to register a second-place finish. He trailed Tanner English across the line with Ryan Unzicker rounding out the podium.

With 30 MARS Championship Series entries on hand at Fairbury Speedway (Fairbury, Ill.) on Saturday, Jason secured his spot into the weekend finale with a fourth-place finish in his heat. Charging from the sixth row, Feger overtook late leader Ryan Unzicker on lap 35 and paced the final six circuits to capture his 14th win of the season and a $5,000 payday. He notched his 23rd career MARS victory ahead of Dennis Erb Jr., Unzicker, Mike Harrison, and Blaze Burwell.

Jason has built up a 104-point advantage atop the latest MARS Championship Series point standings.
